FAQs

Q - If I am unhappy with my current provider, can i change to another provider?

A - Yes, regardless of who is funding the care.

Q - If I am considering using SJW The Wright Care's services, what will happen next?
A -
Firstly we will arrange a mutually convenient time for one of our experienced staff to visit you to discuss what support you are wanting. From there, we will complete an initial assessment and then produce a comprehensive care package to suit yours or your loved ones needs.

Q - Do you charge for making assessments?
A -
SJW never charge for carrying out an assessment. You will only ever pay for your Heath Care Support Worker's time or any other service that you have specifically agreed with us in advance.

Q - Will I always have the same Health Care Support Worker?
A -
Yes, SJW strongly believe that continuity is key to good care. We tailor Health Care Support Workers to match individual clients. The only time that this could vary is to cover sickness and holiday periods but one of our staff would always inform you beforehand. We promise to personally introduce a cover Health Care Support Worker to you too if this was necessary.

Q - Would I always know who is visiting me daily?

A - Yes, SJW  Provide all our clients with a visit sheet a week in advance.

Q -  What happens if a Health Care Support Worker does not turn up to support me?

A -   All staff at SJW are issued with a Mobile device and unique code which they use to log in and out of every client they visit. Should a client not receive a visit on the planned time an alert is sent to the office within 5 minutes of the missed call.

Q - Are all your Health Care Support Workers DBS checked?
A - Yes all our staff are Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) checked.

A - All our Health Care Support Workers receive comprehensive training prior to starting work. All new staff will undertake a lengthy induction process and complete the Care Certificate within 13 weeks of employment.
