Here are some of our staffs feedback and why they think we are different to other providers.

Many of our girls have previously worked for other providers…

Alison…

“I love working for SJW as they are flexible for hours and look after the staff

It’s a bonus that i love the clients we look after too it’s an honour” xx

Moira…

“I enjoy working for SJW as they are fair, flexible and extreme supportive” xxx

Kirsty…

I love the fact that everyone does their bit, we have got a lovely team of girls that are always willing to help you in any way they can. I feel we can also go to any of the management team if we have a problem and they will try and do what they can and are so grateful for all the hard work that everyone is doing as well as being fair with your request for days off for appointments and rest days. All the clients are lovely, and I really enjoy that part of my job because they are so grateful and appreciate everything we do for them. All in all, I love my job and can't wait for the days I am at work”.

Jade…

“I like working here because I get my flexibility, we also have a nice bunch of clients”

Danielle…

“We have lovely clients, and all the girls are great to work with”

Kay W…

“Support whenever we need it, if from the office team or carers that are in the community, we are not a team we are FAMILY”

Zoe…

“SJW are a great company to work for as the staff are a team and in care this is very important, everyone is a valued member, and we all go the extra miles to ensure everyone has the best care possible. Not to mention great rates of pay, fuel allowance and paid travel time”

Amy…

“SJW is like one big family the clients are amazing, it's enjoyable doing a job where you know you are appreciated”

Elaine…

“Great team and lovely clients and families”

Nicola…

“I like working for SJW as they are very accommodating to me with the hours I can work. My availability isn’t as flexible as some people but SJW still give me the amount of hours I want around my other commitments which is hard to find when working in care. I find Sue, Louise and Becky very approachable, friendly and professional and I personally think we have a great bunch of carers in our team”

Donna…

“we have a great bunch of girls who all get along, management are easy to approach and of course job satisfaction in helping others”

Kay H…

“SJW are a good company to work for, it has good rate of pay, drive time and mileage. The management are very approachable, understand the needs of everyone. Good ongoing training and development when needed. I’ve been with SJW for 6 years.”

Chelsey…

“The days pass quickly as you aren’t in one place all day and you get more time to spend getting to know the clients as opposed to being in a care home setting”

Rossie…

“Great company to work for. SJW have been very flexible to allow me to get back into employment, having taken a career change from administration to a caring role. We have a great team of staff and caring for others is a very rewarding job”

Response to COVID-19
SJW would like to reassure all our clients at this difficult time that we will do our utmost to ensure business remains as usual. We understand that this may be a worrying time for many of the people using our services and would like to explain what measures we are taking to maintain a safe and effective approach to our work;
- SJW will continue to follow the latest Government and Public Health England Coronavirus (COVID-19) guidance
- SJW will work with local authorities to establish plans for mutual aid should it be necessary

- SJW has issued staff with additional PPE (personal protective equipment)
- SJW staff have been instructed to follow the strict guidance on hand washing
- SJW staff have all been made to complete an additional Infection Control Training course in light of the recent outbreak
We have a duty of care to protect our staff and service users therefore we ask that as individuals you are also following the government advice on maintaining a clean and safe environment. In our experience we advise to limit visits from friends and family where possible, wash your hands regularly, ensure door handles and work tops are cleaned regularly. We would also advise that you reduce or even refrain from leaving your home unless absolutely necessary for the foreseeable.
It may be that some of you will require additional support over the coming weeks and we would like to reassure you that we will do our utmost to provide this should it be required. We can help with such things as shopping, picking up prescriptions, posting mail, dog walking, cleaning your home, hospital or GP visits and much more. Please call us on 01909 512163 should you need further assistance. With this in mind we hope that you understand that over the coming weeks we may be faced with some challenging and major decisions with regards to reducing calls, lengthening calls, or reducing such visits as social and domestic calls as we may reach a point where we must prioritise visits. We endeavour to continue business as usual but please accept our apologies in advance should we need to alter your times or durations of your visits. We will inform you of any major changes, but these changes will only be made should it be completely necessary.
Our office staff will now be working from separate offices. Should you wish to speak to someone in particular please see below individual telephone numbers:
